Media Production Show welcomes 5,000 visitors
The inaugural Media Production Show has been hailed a success by exhibitors and attendees, with almost 5,000 visitors attending the two-day event.
The Media Production Show, which took place on Thursday and Friday at the Business Design Centre in Islington, featured an exhibition of kit and services from over 100 companies as well as a seminar programme that covered pre-production, production and post-production.
Over the two days some 4,986 visitors attended the show.
MBI event director Charlotte Wheeler said: “For a launch show in the creative media space the visitor levels at last week’s event were incredible.
“The vision of the event, to bring creativity and technology together, resonated with thousands of people and the feedback from visitors, speakers and exhibitors has been phenomenal.

Flying TV managing director Sarah Greene described the show as “absolutely buzzing” while Red Planet Pictures founder Tony Jordan said he was amazed at the turnout. He said: “I recognise people from drama, from digital platforms, from movies – it’s been great.”
Barcroft Media creative director Alex Morris added: “It’s great that there is a show that isn’t just about film and TV and takes in digital too because as far as we are concerned those worlds are all colliding and we think it is important that they are considered a whole rather than individual items.”
